Improve the appearance of cellulite with these 5 methods.

 

If you have cellulite, you’re not alone. It affects 80% of women and 10% of men.

Before we go any further – what is cellulite? We know what it looks like, but what is it really? It’s dimpled skin that usually appears on the arms, stomach, thighs and buttocks which is a result of fat deposits pushing through the connective tissue beneath the skin. 1) Healthy diet
A healthy diet plays a vital role in keeping cellulite at bay. Watch your sodium and sugar intake because food high in salt and sugar causes fat cells to swell, which makes cellulite more visible. Instead, load up on fibre, whole grains, fruit and vegetables. Stay adequately hydrated by drinking lots of water, because a state of dehydration causes cellulite to look worse.

 

2) Regular exercise
The less fat you have on your body, the less cellulite appears. This is why it’s important to include exercise as part of your lifestyle. Add more cardio and strength training exercises, with a focus on your hips, legs and backside.

 

3) Massage troubled areas
